1st Choice Engineering is a Hunter-based (Australia) company that offers clients a high standard of maintenance and repair of magnetic drum separators. We have established a maintenance and repair division specialising in the refurbishment of Magnetic Separator Drums and Mineral D.M.S. Plants.

Our clients are found mainly in the mining industry and we have the experience and expertise to service magnetic drum separators used in this industry.

We offer professional management by our joint managing directors Jim McInnes and Glenn Woodward and high quality workmanship from specialist tradespeople who have many years experience in magnetics, precision machining and stainless steel fabrication.

Whatever the magnetic issue we offer help ranging from simple repairs though to total rebuilds. We also manufacture stainless steel end plates as replacements for corroded cast aluminium end plates.

Our heavy duty engineer-rated cradles safely transport drums up to 4 tonnes in weight. These cradles are manufactured to suite your specific drum length and are fully galvanised.
